New Jersey Print and Paper Fellowship

The Brodsky Center’s New Jersey Print and Paper Fellowship Program serves artists across the state by enabling them to produce new work at the center. There have been over 120 participants in this program and they include emerging artists as well as such nationally known figures as Willie Cole and Sandy Skoglund. A committee of art professional selects 6 fellows per year and the work they produce at the center is exhibited at and enters the permanent collections of New Jersey museums. It is also placed in public buildings throughout the state, thus benefiting thousands of state residents who do not regularly visit museums.

Details: New Jersey Artists are invited to apply for a two week residency at the Brodsky Center.  Artists work with the master printer or papermaker to produce a print or handmade paper project.  Participants receive a $500 honorarium and half of the edition created.  All projects are completed during the residency period. This competition is open to artists working in any medium.
