Designed by architect Steven Learner, and located on a beautiful, 53-acre property
with a view of the Berkshires in Litchfield County, Connecticut, The Granary is the
personal art exhibition and storage facility that houses works of art from the
collection of Melva Bucksbaum and Raymond Learsy. The private tour of this
outstanding collection, which includes important pieces by among others, Cindy
Sherman, Eric Fischl, Richard Prince, Laurie Simmons, Carroll Dunham, Bryan
Hunt, Antony Gormley, and Joseph Beuys, is for up to 12 people at a date in spring
2011 to be decided. You will be driven to The Granary by a Brodsky Center staff
member and toured around by Melva and Raymond, who will also host you for
lunch at the conclusion of the tour.
