The BCIE held its annual Gala at the West Side Loft in New York on January 21, 2009. The honorees were the internationally
renowned artist Richard Tuttle, curator and art educator Ruth Bowman and William J. Dane, Keeper of Manuscripts and
Prints at the Newark Public Library.
